A social political group, Youth o’clock, has described the victory of Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as an act of God for him to transform the state with his More Agenda.mantra.
This was made known at the Thanksgiving service held to celebrate his Supreme Court victory at Word City Prevailers Global Ministries in Oleh, headquarters of Isoko South local government area.
Speaking during the thanksgiving service, the convener of the group, Mr. Ubara Blessed Paris said, “We are here to dedicate Youth O’Clock to God and to celebrate the victory of the youth friendly governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
“We are thanking God for the movement, ‘Youth O’Clock’ that was established by the State Governor, we heard the statement of Youth O’clock from him throughout his electioneering campaign and we capitalized on it and picked it up from there and here we are today.
“Governor Oborevwori believes in the youth and he is keen to restructure Delta State with infrastructural development and to the glory of God, he is the first governor in the history of our State using Julius Berger to construct roads and flyovers despite the harsh economic condition in the country.
“Appointing youths as Commissioners in his cabinet has shown that he is bringing in people from the grassroots to ensure that his administration succeed in delivering dividends of democracy to Deltans”.
While calling on Deltans to support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration, Ubara held that Deltans are in a safe hand with him and for the next 8 years, there is going to be a massive transformation.
He also used the Thanksgiving service to appealed to the Delta State governor to revive the Aviara Rice and Fish farm so that the teeming youths in the area can be gainfully employed and key into Agriculture. ‘We are in the street we know what the youths want.’
