The Urhobo Progress Union UPU, the social-cultural organization and umbrella body of the Urhobo ethnic nationality has honoured Dr Isaac Akpoveta with a merit award in recognition of his contribution to the society, humanity and the advancement of the Urhobo nation.
Dr. Isaac Akpoveta while receiving the award, thank the UPU for finding him worthy as the recipient of the award while pledging to do more especially to the vulnerable in the society.

Being a World Health Organization (WHO) certified in Health Systems Financing Policy Olorogun Dr. Isaac Omavuaye AKPOVETA was the key facilitator of a technical working group (TWG), set up by the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur OKowa, to midwife the Delta State Contributory Health Insurance Commission bill passed into law in 2015

ESTABLISHMENT OF A DIVISIONAL POLICE HEADQUATERS:
Also Recently The Olorogun Upgraded, Renovated, Furnished And Equipped a Police Post To A Divisional Police Headquarter At Ofuoma-Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government, Which Was Commissioned in February 2021 by the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Police Command, CP Mohammed Ari Ali. A strategic police division that takes care of the security needs of 14 communities of Ughelli kingdom and beyond.
FACILITAION OF UFUOMA-UGHELI MAGISTERIAL JUDICIAL DIVISION:
Similarly he did same for the Judiciary by facilitating a Magisterial Judiciary Division to Ofuoma-Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government Area which was commissioned in April 2021 by Justice Marshal Umukoro, the then Chief Judge of Delta State, having two magistrates adjudicating simultaneously thus easing the congested judiciary system in Ughelli north and beyond.
RESTORATION OF ELECTRICITY IN UFUOMA COMMUNITY:
On Energy, the Olorogun not only paid up the accumulated huge debt by the Ofuoma community to BEDC, he singlehandedly renovated 7 moribund transformer in Ofuoma Community and beyond thus restoring light to the community after six 6 years of darkness. The emerging commercial and academic life of the semi urban town thus came alive.
GENERAL IMPROVEMENT AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN UFUOMA:
Using his social and political connections Olorogun Dr AKPOVETA influence the reconstruction of the Afiesere–Ofuoma road, a Health Centre and an Examination Hall for the College of Technology Ofuoma, all to the community.
In consideration of these achievements along with scholarships to indigent students of the community he was awarded the Adjerese and Awhotu of Ofuoma; and is being adjudged the architect of “Modern Ofuoma’’
