We live in a society where people are too relax ,timid and grossly insensitive to issues that have direct effect on thier lives .
I have drawn the attention of the political class and leaders of the south south to the evil that is before us countless times yet nobody seems to care about what will soon befall us as a people. This is a tragedy of monumental proportion.
The gruesome murder of a young man by Fulani herdsmen along Agbarho / Ughelli road recently is a sad reminder of what we befall us as a people if urgent steps are not taken to confront this blood thirsty demons from foreign land.
We cannot sit back and watch silently anymore as our compatriots,brothers ,sisters and children are being cut short by a bunch of ruthless, vicious, evil and savage militias made up of primarily foreign barbarians and bloodthirsty bandits. The FG has an obligation before God and the Nigerian people to do far more but unfortunately it has failed woefully in it’s constitutional responsibility to protect lives and properties of it’s own citizens.
It is imperative that we unite and take control of the security situation in the South-South. Waiting for external assistance or relying on the government is not the solution. Our lands have been taken away, and the safety of our people is at risk. Farming has become a dangerous venture due to these killer herdsmen. Monarchs have been slain in our dear state.
We mustn’t wait for the military; we must take matters into our own hands. Once we drive them away from our land, we can reclaim our farms. Secure our people and enjoy peace and prosperity.
May God grant each and everyone of us peace. May he guide our Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for the next eight years and May he watch over our nation.
