Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen has kidnapped three mobile policemen drafted to Ohoror axis of the East West Road in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Though the identity of the kidnapped Mobile police men is yet to be ascertained, it was learned that they went on a rescue mission after receiving a distressed call by a resident of the community.
A source from the Delta State Police Command who confirmed the incident said, “A male suspect who currently under detention came to the mobile policemen check point demand for the rescue of some of the Ohoror community residents under attack at a nearby bush.
The Mobile Commandant details three of his officers to the rescue bit when they got to the bush part, they were ambushed and taken to unknown destination by gunmen.
