The National Assembly and State Election Petition Tribunal holding in Asaba Delta state, has dismissed the case filed by Ekpoto Ekpoto Emmanuel of the All Progressive Congress (APC) challenging the election of Rt. Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the February 28, 2023 general election. The three man panel of the tribunal, chaired by Justice Catherine Ogunsola, in a judgement, dismissed the case in for lack of merit by the petitioner.
