Inspector General of Police,IGP, Kayode Egbetokun PhD, has urged officers alleging extortion for promotion to report such malfeasance directly to him. The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi,in a statement said IGP Egbetokun and the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, decried the reports on alleged extortion in the ongoing promotion exercise for inspectors to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
