  The Federal high court in Abuja has struck out the application for stay of execution on the judgment that nullified the candidacy of Ebonyi state governor, Dave Umahi and his deputy Kelechi Igwe for defecting from the People’s democracy party to the All Progressive congress. Just In: Umahi Rejects Abuja Court Judgement

  Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State has rejected the ruling of an Abuja Federal High Court which sacked him, his deputy and fifteen lawmakers from office. Umahi maintained that he is still the governor of the state despite the court ruling. The governor said the ruling would be disregarded by his followers.
