PVC Registration, Foundation Sets To Release N1M To Deltans

In its bid to encourage Deltan to register and collect their Permanent Voter’s Card, PVC, ahead of the 2023 general election,  a non-profit governmental organization, Atawa-Akpodiete foundation and a political pressure group, Atawa Poltical Vanguard, APV, have disclosed that registrants will smile home with the sum of one million.

 

The foundation and political group in its official statement held that the donation of cash is to encourage those who are yet to register for their PVCs but they are willing to get registered.

 

It would be recalled that the Independent electoral commission has disclosed that official registration for PVC collection will stop on Sunday July 31, 2022.

According to the statement signed by the President, “As part of the our activities to encourage Nigerians, particularly Deltans and residents of Asaba to vote, the foundation and group have deemed it fit to add values by donation of cash.

 

The statement read, “We at Atawa-Akpodiete Foundation and Atawa Political Vanguard are trying to encourage Nigerians to register to vote.

“No party or candidate is being endorsed. It’s an altruistic and patriotic gesture. 2023 will be a watershed moment for Nigeria.
