..as Ogboru lauds peaceful polls
Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has lamented the slow process of card Reader for the Presidential and National assembly elections just as he commend the peaceful conduct.
Addressing newsmen at Okpe Ward 3, unit 9, in Okpe Local Government Area, He said, “The process is slow because of the card reader that are not working effectively and it took almost an hour before I was accredited before voting.
“The ad-hoc staff of INEC arrived late and the entire process was better slow and I will appeal for manual voting I’d the need be”. He said.
At Eku in Ethiope East, Chief Arthur Akpovwovwo, a chieftain of the PDP commend the peaceful conduct of the polls but laments the failure of card readers.There was also the shortage of electoral materials here in Unit 16, Ward 9.
At Abraka, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Great Ogboru lauded the peaceful conduct of the election, saying; “The APC would definitely come out victorious.
According to Ogboru, “There are issues of ballot box snatching from some part of the state and in some areas, it was not successful but in all, APC will win the elections”. He assured.
