Police Attack: Ughelli Area Commander, Visits Amputated Officer In Hospital

THE Ughelli Area Commander, ACP Adebayo Ademola has paid a cheer up visit to the surviving Police Officer, ASP Robinson Irobo whose left hand was amputated after being attacked by unknown gunmen at Isiokolo police division in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta state.
ASP Robinson Irobo, ASP Obasanya Samuel and PC Chukwudi Abanu were on guard when unknown armed men opened fire on them in August at the front of Isiokolo Police Division.
This is just as the Delta State Commissioner of Police, Wale Abass had earlier reach out to the injured officer to encourage him and offset his medical bills that has run into millions of naira before the visitation of ACP Ademola Adebayo.
While ASP Obasanya Samuel died from gun injury and lost of blood,  ASP Robinson Irobo left arm was riddled with bullets which led to its amputation in an undisclosed hospital.
At the hospital, ACP Ademola Adebayo who made a financial contribution, was accompanied by the DPO, Isiokolo division and some senior officers from the Command.
He said, “While I encourage you, I want to let you know that we your colleagues in collaboration with sister security agencies in the state will fish out the hoodlums and bring them to book in no distant time.”
