PENTECOSTAL Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Ughelli North chapter has inaugurated a 40-man executive to pilot its affairs for the next four years in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The newly inaugurated executive is headed by Rev. Dr. Mereh Wariri as its chairman, Pastor James Orji Vice, Pst Balogun Mabamije as Media Director and many others.
Speaking at the event, the inaugural chairman, Rev Dr Daniel Ebikems said, “You are inaugurated to guide the church and if you do not guide the church, it will go astray.
“You are to embrace and enlist all Pentecostal assemblies, bodies and believers in the fold of the PFN to maintain the ministry of the spirit in bond of love among yourselves with other members in the body of Christ.
“Maintain standard and sound doctrine of faith even as we have a lot of challenges in the body of Christ and we are to correct the errors among us.
“You are not just holding an offices because lot of false prophets and teachers has risen and we have much responsibilities on our shoulders to correct the error and bring glory to God kingdom.”
“While we present you before the Lord and the people, you are all here to assist the chairman to make sure that he did not fail, there should be no room for competition.” Rev. Ebikems advised.
On his part, chairman of Ughelli North PFN, Rev Dr Mere in his speech disclosed that he least expected the chairmanship position not until God told him of having a great responsibility for which he is not prepared for not will suddenly fall upon him.
He said, “I must acknowledge that I was not initially prepared for this great task but it suddenly came upon me and under this circumstances, I will depend on the grace of God.
“I am soliciting for your cooperation, support and prayers, I have received counsels and encouragement from the number one citizen of PFN in Delta state, I Bishop Dr Kingsley Enakirerhi, senior ministers and elders.
“PFN Ughelli North chapter, will increase the membership as we believed that the more we are in members, the merrier to emphasize the basic of the gospel of salvation and the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ”
