People’s Progressive Parliament holds Alliance Meeting with Team Ibori for Okowa

People’s Progressive Parliament (PPP) recently hosted Team Ibori for Okowa at their national secretariat in Ughelli, Delta State.

The meeting which is an alliance to ensure the incumbent governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is re-elected as governor for continuity, equity, fairness and justice come 2019.

In his open remark, the president of PPP, Comr. Matthew Onorhere, who noted that “The Elite group and members of People’s Progressive Parliament (PPP) cordially welcome the state coordinator, Team Ibori for Okowa, Hon. Edmond Guana, his excos and members to this historic event talking place at the People’s Progressive Parliament (PPP) secretariat, Ughelli, Delta State.

Today meeting is an alliance to deliver Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa governorship and to return him to government house come 2019.”

He further stated that “the coming together of these two formidable political groups to form an alliance is a divine arrangement to work for the re-election of our humble and hardworking governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa come 2019.”

According to the state coordinator, Team Ibori for Okowa, Hon. Edmond Guana, “Team Ibori for Okowa is a political group that is cut across the three senatorial zones in Delta State. The group is aimed at ensuring Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi is re-elected as governor come 2019 for equity, fairness and justice. Chief James Ibori from Delta central was elected governor and completed his two tenure and Uduaghan from Delta South completed his two tenure as governor.  For equity, fairness and justice Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa should be allowed to complete his two tenure for Delta north.”

The state coordinator advised all members to go to their various wards, communities and towns to sensitize the electorate on the need to get their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) as that is the only means by which they can ensure Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is re-elected as governor come 2019.
