A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party and foremost philanthropist, Evang. Comr. Evbie Andrew has commended party faithfuls on their peaceful conduct during the recently held ward congress of the party.
Comr. Evbie who gave the commendation while speaking to news men shortly after casting his vote at the congress venue of his ward 3/7 Ughelli North, stated that the peaceful conduct of the congress shows that the party is one big happy family.
He commended the leadership of the ward led by the chief of staff to the delta state government, Olorogun David Edevbie, Hon. Abel Oshevire and Major P.A Egone (RTD), noting that their all inclusive style of leadership has ensured the party at the ward level remained rancour free.
Evbie who was accompanied by a large group of his supporters went on to congratulate the winners of the positions contested for with Mr. Lucky Ikporo emerging victorious as the ward chairman.
He promised to work with the newly elected excos and give them the maximum support needed to ensure that ahead of the next election season, the party get a clean sweep across the ward.
