PDP Congress: No Decision Yet On Jeremi Ward 3 PDP Excos – Oviri

Olorogun Prince Okiemute Oviri has refuted a report making the round that the PDP 2020 Congress Coordinating Committee of Jeremi Ward 3, Okwagbe has taken a decision to return the incumbent chairman, Mr. Benjamin Omogosibo, saying there was no iota of truth about the report.

Oviri in a signed statement described the report as wicked and capable of inciting crises among members of the party in the ward.

Oviri faulted the composition of the congress coordinating committee as it did not reflect the interest of Okwagbe Inland DSIEC Ward which has only two members against Okwagbe Waterside DSIEC Ward which has four persons including two blood brothers.

Oviri argued that there had been a long time zoning order of ward executives between Okwagbe Waterside and Okwagbe Inland. “It is on that zoning and change of executives i stand on, no continuity of executives. Also the congress coordinating committee members need to be reviewed to reflect equity between Okwagbe Inland and Okwagbe Waterside”.

Oviri called on the state party chairman of PDP, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso and PDP Congress Committee of Ughelli South Local Government Area to look into the illegality that is being promoted by some individuals who want to arrogate powers to themselves in Jeremi Ward 3.
