…Lauds Peaceful Conduct of PDP Primaries
Foremost national leader of PDP, in Ogor and Senior Special Assistant, Political, to Delta State Governor, Olorogun (Hon) Kpuwhara Anthony JP, has revealed that the one year of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in office has silenced the opposition and his critics with handful of projects to be commissioned.
He made this known while congratulating the governor on his one year in office since he assumed office to pilot the affairs of the state.
According to him, “Prior to his emergence as governor, several people and the opposition were criticizing his choice for the PDP, but today, same people are currently appreciating him for bringing his MORE Agenda development to every nooks and crannies of Delta state.
“Despite the unimaginable attack and challenges faced by Governor Oborevwori, ranging from litigations and other distractions that ought to have hinder his administration, he has executed roads projects of 171.49km.
“The 38 court cases against his emergence which he won was a proof of his divine mandate to govern Delta State and he has not failed us.
“It is on record that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori who was not deterred by side distractions released over N40 Billion to pay retirees and another N5 billion promotion arrears for over 50,000 civil servants in the state.
“In his one year in office, he has displayed that his administration is focused on developing the state with standard projects execution that will stand the text of time.
“And if one year, he could go to such length of touching every aspect of governance across the state, Deltans should be rest assured that his MORE Agenda is not a fluke to pacify them.
“Deltans should join hands to ensure that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, whose administration has surpassed expectations despite challenges is on course with unbroken MORE Agenda mantra.”
In a related development, Olorogun Kpuwhara Anthony commended the leadership of the PDP for the peaceful conduct of the primaries where Chairmanship and Councilorship emerged ahead of the forthcoming local government elections
“The primaries was organized in such a manner and manner that maturity come to play and I want to commend the governor for laying down a precedence where there was no candidate imposition on the people. He allowed level playing field for the popular persons to emerge.”
