ASABA- The Executive Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on political matters, Hon. Peter Idion has applauded the Tribunal Judgement that reaffirmed the victory of Executive Governor of Delta State in the last Guber election.
The Political aide to the Governor disclosed this to our reporter today in Asaba, Delta State Capital in a press release made available to Newsmen while Congratulating the Governor. Idion stated that the gesture on fair judgement by the Judiciary will promote Political stability in the state.
Hon Idion opined that Deltans understands the principle of equity, fairness and Justice, which are elements very Paramount to progress, development and Political stability void of inter- ethnic conflicts.
The political guru commended Deltans for standing beside the Peoples Governor to ensure that their votes are protected, guided for socio-economic development of the State.
He enjoined the Candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Great Ogboru, the Leadership of his party in the State and other opposition Political Parties in the State to work with Governor, since the Governor has extended olive branch to his rival, every for the growth and development of the state.
He also used the medium to thank the snr political Adviser to the Gov of delta state on political Matters. RT Hon Fukekeme Solomon for the great job he is doing in harmonizing all the various groups in PDP family.
According to Hon Peter, the political strategy will go along way towards uniting all for the progress of the state, also that the political adviser to Governor Okowa has shown high level of articulation and maturity in the ways he has handled issues since he was appointed.
He also appealled to all Deltans irrespective of their religion and ethnic groups to rally round the Governor so as to take the state to enviable heights with their support and prayers for His Excellency to succeed.
