The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has expressed sadness over the sudden death of the founder of Holy Trinity Mission, Ughelli, Bishop Diamond Emuobor.
According to the Speaker, he was deeply pained by the demise of Bishop Emuobor who hailed from Ugborhen community of Okpe Kingdom.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Dennis Otu on Monday, the Speaker who represents Okpe State Constituency in the House described the death of the pioneer chairman of the Okpe Christian Assembly as a huge loss to Okpe Kingdom, Urhobo Nation and the entire State.
While commiserating with the family, Okpe Kingdom, Urhobo Nation and the entire State, the Speaker implored them to be consoled by the legacies he left behind, saying he lived a fulfilled life.
“The news of the demise of our highly respected Bishop Emuobor came to me as a big surprise. His death is a huge loss not only to Okpe Kingdom, Urhobo Nation but the entire State”.
“The late Bishop Emuobor impacted many lives positively, he spread the message of God everywhere and won many souls for God. The late Bishop Emuobo will be missed greatly”.
“My thoughts and prayers are with his family, Okpe Kingdom, Urhobo Nation and the entire State. May God give us the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant his soul eternal rest”, he said.
