ASABA – Former first elected Female Local Government Chairman in Ndokwa East, member board of Governing Council, College of Education, Mosugha and the Leader of PDP ward 6 in the loyalty, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Mary Chidi, popularly known as “Enyi”, has said that all hands must be on desk to deliver the party, the entire Leaders, ward executives of the party, members of the party and other stakeholders will work to ensure that Governor Okowa win landslide victory in the election come 2019.
This was made known to some group of Journalist in Asaba after the meeting of the leaders of ward 6 at the residence of their overall leader, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Mary Chidi (a.k.a) Enyi on 13th March, 2018.
Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Mary Chidi has also stated by promising to play host to unit leaders in the Locality in the various Communities that make up the ward to ensure Okowa’s victory come 2019 election.
Speaking in that occasion, the Honorable Councilor representing ward 6 (13) in the locality, Hon. Prince U. Okwokwo stated that the developmental strides of Gov. Okowa across the three senatorial districts of the State.
“Okowa has performed credibly well in all sectors of the economy in the State, therefore deserve second tenure come 2019”, Hon. Prince Stated.
In another development, his counterpart Councillor who represents ward 6 (12), Hon. Friday Edemenya has supported the move by ward 6 PDP stakeholders towards achieving the goals of ensuring that Okowa emerges victoriously come 2019.
Those present in that occasion includes: The entire Ward 6 Executives of PDP led by the ward Chairman Mr. OfurieEnueme, Comr. Hillary Onyebolise, SA to Hon. Chief Mrs M aryChidi, Chief Anthony Oghadi, the PDP local Government Auditor and the host of others.
In a motion moved by the party youth leader, Mr. Prosper Iyamah, that a vote of confidence be passed on Governor Okowa, Obielum and the overall leader of ward 6, Hon. (Mrs) Mary Chidi, was seconded by Legal Adviser of the party Barrister Williams Okolo and the house agreed to support them, their leader in all ramification.
However, the party in ward 6 throw their weight behind the leadership style of Chief Godswill as the political leader of NdokwaEast Local Government.
The ward PDP Chairman, OfurieEnueme in a vote of thanks applauded the kind gesture and the unanimous decisions taken by the PDP Stakeholders in the Locality to support the Governor Okowa’s second term bid.
