Monarch Sacks Community PG, Suspends Two Prominent Chiefs In Isoko

 

The traditional ruler of Olomoro Kingdom in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta, HRH Isaiah Isike, Edekere 1, and the Central Executive Council, have allegedly impeached the community president general, Deacon Emmanuel Oteri over an alleged vandalization of the community Civic Center.

The Monarch had also suspended two prominent Chiefs in the community over their alleged involvement.

It was gathered that the impeached president general was allegedly fine a million naira while the suspended chiefs are to appear before an investigative committee headed by a High ranking chief appointed by the monarch.

According to sources from the community, “The former PG was removed because of his incompetency and abuse of office and among other related offenses.

The anonymous source said, “Our highly respected king, HRH Isaiah Isike Edekere 1, the Odio-Ologbo of Olomoro kingdom and the Central Executive Council, summoned a meeting to discuss the most volatile issue surrounding the vandalization of the Olomoro Civic Center some weeks ago together with the central executive council of Olomoro kingdom.

“The meeting was attended by high profile dignatries of Olomoro kingdom, the women bsection and the Youths of the kingdom.

The traditional ruler now ask President of Olomoro Development Union, Deacon. Emmanuel Oteri, to tell the honourable house what transpired over the vandalization of the Civic Center and Deacon. Emmanuel Oteri, now mentioned Hon.Edafe Akpaeta, the Supervising Councilor of Agric and Natural Resources in Isoko-South Local Government Area, Hon.Ayo Ayegheleme, Hon.Kingsley Obeidhoko, Evan.Isaac Ogidiga under his instruction to carry out the dastardly act.

“And he was automatically impeached with a fine of one million naira to the traditional ruling Council, he will fix the damaged properties in the Olomoro Civic Center and also to meet with the acting President General to see how they can return the deities (juju) from the town.”

“The allegations against Hon. Ayo Ayegheleme and Hon. Chief Kingsley Oghenekaro Obeidhoko were denied by them to part and parcel of the planning to the execution.

“The Royal Highness now set up an investigative committee headed by High Chief.Gabriel Erueme, the Udhedhe of Olomoro kingdom to unravel the truth surrounding the response of Hon.Ayo Ayegheleme and Hon.Chief.Kingsley Obeidhoko to submit their report within one week.

“Deacon. Emmanuel Oteri, was today evicted from the office of the President General of Olomoro Development Union and Mr.Emmanuel Uzie, the 2nd Vice-president was mandated to act in acting capacity till December when his Egbo Community will send a replacement.

“Evangelist Issac Ogidiga was also evicted from the position of Uruabe Community and they Hon.Edafe Akpaeta and Idu Christain were both fined a beef each.

“You can recall back that Hon.Edafe Akpaeta and Deacon Emmanuel Oteri have once assaulted me respectively from the electioneering period that brought Oteri to power.

“While we awaits the determination of the investigative committee, Hon Ayo Ayegheleme and Hon Chief Kingsley Obeidhoko are suspended from the Olomoro traditional ruling council pending the determination of the committee.” The source alleged.

Efforts to speak with the impeached PG was not successful as calls to his mobile line, 080385***30 was not connecting.
