As part of his activities to cushion the effect of lockdown directives by the Delta State Government in fighting Coronavirus pandemic, Prince Emmanuel Omote has donated food items worth millions of naira to Delta communities.
Okpe-Olomu community in Ughelli South and Jeddo Warri North local were beneficiaries of the items donated which includes bags of Garri, Rice beans, Indomie, Yams and cash.
According to Omote who is the national coordinator of Elohim Political Forum, EPF, “Activities in our dear state have been short down by the state government due to the ravaging of the world deadly disease, Covid-19 that has claimed lives across the globe and in our state.
“And I want to appreciate them for their obedience to the order of the state governor who took the proactive measures in curbing the the spread of the disease.
“The stay at home directives by the Delta State governor is for the benefit Deltans because the disease called Coronavirus or Covid-19 is real and the best way to control it is by staying indoors and keeping safe distance.
“Our people should continue to be law abiding because this Coronavirus pandemic will soon be a thing of the past.
Commending the gesture at Okpe-Olomu in Ughelli South local government area, Chief Eric Oluku said, “Emmanuel Omote has given hope to his people at this vulnerable period of lockdown and it is our prayer that God will continue do more for him.
On his part, Uvwo Emmanuel said, “These palliative measures would go a long way in helping the people during this period of covid-19 where every body in the state are not working nor going out.
“He has done well and I am pleading with others in Olomu kingdom to emulate this gestures in time.” Uvwo appealed.
