A female manager of a new generation bank situated along Market Road, Ughelli Metropolis and another business woman recently kidnapped in Ughelli North North local government area of Delta state have been released by their abductors.
The Manager name withheld was abducted along Ekiugbo- Warri road while going to her office last Thursday morning.
Though the report was sketchy as at the time of their release, it was learned by this medium that unspecified amount of ransom was paid respectively.
Both captives spent nearly a week before they were set free in an undisclosed respective locations.
The woman who deal on house hold items along Aroh road, was abducted at her residence in Ekredjebo-Ughelli community.
Source disclosed that, The woman and her husband a lawyer and their daughter were returning from her shop located at Aroh road on Thursday evening.
“When they got to their home at, their alighted from the car to open the gate for them to drive in and that process, the husband was forces out of the vehicle.
“He escaped through the fence but his wife who was not so lucky was abducted and taken to unknown destination..
The Delta state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright could not be contacted over the incident but a senior security source from the State Police headquarters confirmed the incident.
The two women were kidnapped barely 24hrs after three mobile policemen attached PMF 51 Oghara drafted to Ohoror axis of the East West Road were kidnapped.
