Just in: Delta Commissioner Resigns Over Sibling’s Chairmanship Second Tenure

Delta State Commissioner for Technical Education, Hon. Joan Onyemaechi has resigned her commissionership position in other to enable her sibling to emerge as the chairmanship aspirant zoned to her Ubulu community in Aniocha South local Government Area.

According to her in a video statement, she said, I came to minister l today, to you here as a former commissioner for the ministry for Technical Education.

In my local government, my younger brother is the Council Chairman, he has done one tenure and he is returning for his second tenure and the position is zoned to my clan.

And you know there are persons who would always asked questions that why is it this woman, she is a commissioner, I why should her brother go for second tenure.

When something is zoned to your clan, you have to be very careful,

We have 3 Clan, the Nsukkwa clan bid by election and succession and they did their two tenure, and it came to Ogwash and they did their two tenure  and it is now the turn of Ubulu and incidentally my younger brother is the chairman now.

And for us to complete our second tenure and they said why should brother and sister occupy two position?

But as for me, by the mercies of God, I have become a political consultant and my brother is just coming up. I am here today because somebody gave me a place to stand and today that person, my political leader relaxes so well.

If he didn’t give me place to stand, I wouldn’t have been standing here today.
