The President General of Ughelli Descendants Union, UDU, worldwide Olorogun Sam Akpimegi has revealed that the emergence of Jaro Egbo as Ughelli North Chairman is the affirmation of the people’s will for a letter local government.
Chief Akpimegi made this known in a congratulatory statement to Olorogun Jaro Egbo after his swearing as the Ughelli north council boss by the Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
According to him, “Amerode, your emergence as the Chairman of Ughelli north council area is a resounding affirmation of the people’s will.
“Your bold contributions to a better life for our people, sacrifice and hard work over the years is the hand of God upon your life.
“Given your track record of excellent service delivery and academic sagacity, I have no reservations about your capacity to drive meaningful development for our local government area as promised in your electioneering campaigns.
“As partners in the shared quest for a truly progressive and developed council area, I look forward to building productive partnerships with you in advancing the cause of peace and progress of our dear council area and Ughelli Kingdom in particular.
