The Vice Chancellor, Crown University of Ghana, Prof. Bashiru Aremu has called on Stakeholders in Africa to take a holistic steps towards fostering development in the continent by initiating more better approaches on global partnership so as to overcome the challenges of growth and sustainable development goals in the African continent.
Professor Aremu made this known to our reporter yesterday in a telephone conversation as Christland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria in Collaboration with CEOAFRICA sets for international Pan-African Conference to host Stakeholders, the global community of Professors across different fields, discipline from different countries of the World on a two-day day Workshop.
He stated that the guest speakers in that event, which he is also one of them will arrive on 23rd of June, that the Workshop is expected to take a duration of 24-25th June, 2019 at Christland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria with the Chairman of the occasion, His Excellency, Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Former Vice President of Liberia, Chief host, Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola, Vice Chancellor, Christland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State and World renown Professors as guest speakers in that event.
The African ICT Consultant Expert, and World-class Professor, added that the conference with the theme: ” Challenges of Growth and Sustainable development in Africa- CGSDA -2019″.
He noted that the Workshop will address the following topics of global importance that abstract had been submitted since May 30th as deadline on; theories and epistemology of growth and development, poverty and challenges of development, hunger, food crisis, technology, security, education, healthcare, global partnership, Gender equity, environment, institutional frame work, Women empowerment and sustainable development, Religion and ethnicity and challenges of development, other SDGs.
According to the VC, “Some of the partners to CEOAFRICA and Christland University, Abeokuta includes, China- Sweeden Business Council, SEHWAH, and others.
Professor Aremu therefore uses the medium to invite the general public and Stakeholders on SDGs to attend as the Workshop is capable of Fostering development in Africa.
