The Director-General of PHEW Foundation International, Mrs Chigbo Queen Uche has called on stakeholders to partner with civil Society organizations towards promoting SDGs 4 in the education sector to refine the youths for more employable skills.
Engr. Mrs Queen Chigbo made this known to our reporter on Monday, being 12th of August at Benizia Hotel in Asaba, Delta State Capital during a one day youth seminar to celebrate the International Youth Day.
She opined that Youths are the Leaders of tomorrow as such crucial education and engagement to create an avenue for a life-long learning opportunities for them thereby tasked stakeholders on Sustainable Development Goals number four (SDGs 4) towards quality, equitable and inclusive education.
The social worker stated further that PHEW Foundation is presently running a program on a campaign geared at educating, enlightening youths on the need to shun violence and human trafficking in both rural and urban Communities, also that the group is currently championing the course for better learning environment for children in their various schools.
In her words” we call for more learning opportunities and condusive environment for youths at all stages both in rural and urban Communities. Good evening I will reduce violence and human trafficking amongst youths in the Society”.
” We celebrate International youth day. We celebrate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and President Buhari for the efforts put in so far in the education sector and skill aquisition, but we call on more involvement, more attention to create proper foundation for the youths”.
