The immediate past chairman of Ughelli North local government council, Hon. Chief Godwin Adode, has been unveiled as the Patron of Integrity Group of Delta State in Ughelli North Local Government area of Delta State.
Chief Adode was also presented with an Ambassadorial award of excellence in recognition of his massive developmental stride as a worthy ambassador of the MORE Agenda Mantra in Ughelli North.
According to the convener of Integrity Group, Dr. Oke Idawene, “We have seen Godwin Adode as a man of substance and we have come to identify with him because we took the time peruse, investigate, check and we have seen that no past chairman has done what he did in Ughelli north.
As MORE Agenda Ambassadors, we are bold to state that anyone fighting Adode is fighting him for acceptance in Delta state, Nigeria and the world at large.
“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is a man of purpose and with the excellent performance of Chief Godwin Adode as the immediate past chairman of Ughelli North Council, he will never crash.
Responding, Chief Godwin Adode, said “When I got the message, I wanted to decline but the group people saw what l went through and recognized my little contributions to the development of our local government.
“I must confess that the name, ‘Tete’ is very easy to spell and called by people and many things written about me on social media are not true, and before anyone must criticized, they should work around and see what our administration did in the local government.
“I want to enjoined our people to ask questions to know, I am equally directing them to the office of the state Accountant General and see what we passed through for the period of 5years and 3 months, the records are there for everyone to see.
“We were able to embarked on projects we did after the subsidy removal, and I am glad to state that the MORE AGENDA Governor never interfere in our activities in the last seven months of our administration and that helped us.
“I want to appeal to our people and Deltans to give maximum support to our state governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, he is our own and will always be part of us.”
