YENEGOA– The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has begin the issuance of Permanent Voter’s Cards, (PVC) to residents in Bayelsa state.
The Resident Commissioner, Barr Ubo Efegha said, “I have met with political parties and Security operatives to chart the way forward, towards conducting a peaceful election.
According to Efegha “We are not going to interfere in the governorship election and any candidate that wins will be announced as the winner of the election.
He further expunged on the collection of PVC, that it will be issue base on ward level Brass Okpoma 04, Brass Sangana ward 10,Ekeremor ward 1&6 Kolokuma,Kaiama ward 4, Kolokuma Kaiama/Olobiri, ward 5, Kolokuma sampou/Kalama ward 6,Nembe Ogbolomabiri ward 3,Ogbia,Ogbia ward 1, Ogbia Otakeme ward 12.
While others include Southern Ijaw Olodiama ii ward 4, Yenagoa Atissai I ward 3, Atissa ii ward 3,Epie I ward 4,Epie ii ward 5,Epie iii, ward 6, he said the Portal for application of Adoc staff is open to the current Youths service corp members and those who recently passed out .
