It was a scary situation at Afiesere-Ughelli community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State when a live snake was found in a bowl with money being sprayed at a marriage reception.
The incident, it was gathered happened at Ogbeurhie street, last sunday, March 20, 2022, when the couple, Mr and Richard, surname withheld were entertaining guests at their marriage reception.

According to a family source, “When we came back from the bride price payment of my brother’s wife in Ekete-Inland in Udu local government area, we decided to hold the reception here in our community.
“Immediately my brother and his wife entered the reception arena, his mobile phone got lost and we could not have a traced of it.
“As that was not enough, when the ceremony was about to start, I requested that a bowl should be brought so that money will not be sprayed on their foreheads and I believed that was the saving grace.
“During the presentation of gift and spraying, we discovered a life snake in the bowl with money. We took the live snake and the youths in the street embed it into a bottle of gin and drank with it.” The family source confirmed in anonymous condition.
