Uwherun bushes, particularly Agadama and Ohoror in Ughelli North LGA, Delta state, have turned Herdsmen kidnapping den.
Kidnapping has increased between Ogor Town, through Evwreni, Uwherun down to Patani. Uwherun people of Ughelli North LGA are known for groundnut farming.
Many Uwherun natives have lost their lives to Herdsmen invaders. Just recently Soldiers rescued some travellers along the Uwherun axis at the Ughelli-Patani Road.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori you are in the driving seat as the leader of Delta state, Chief Security Officer. Agadama and Ohoror residents no longer go their groundnut farms for fear of Herdsmen.
Do we live with Herdsmen killers and kidnappers in Delta state? The pretence by Governor Oborevwori on this insecurity in Uwherun bushes harbouring killer Herdsmen and kidnappers is not hidden.
Why can’t you invite the military and police in a joint force patrol raid of the entire bush in Uwherun, particularly in Agadama and Ohoror bushes to flush out these Herdsmen killers and kidnappers from the area?
These killer herdsmen and kidnappers live in these bushes. Gov Oborevwori don’t pretend as if you don’t hear of the high kidnapping rate in Uwherun bushes of Ughelli North LGA of the state.
Please don’t play politics with lives of the locals of Uwherun and travellers plying that Ughelli-Patani at Uwherun axis.
Internet is flooded with short videos of passengers that are being kidnapped on daily basis by the Herdsmen killers and kidnappers.
Governor Oborevwori don’t pretend that you don’t know that Uwherun people can no longer farm. Save the lives of Uwherun locals particularly most vulnerable Agadama and Ohoror communities of Ughelli North of Delta.
Governor Oborevwori, provide necessary logistics to the military and police to raid the entire Uwherun bush to enable the locals do their groundnut farming.
They are a lot for the security operatives to do for them to end Herdsmen kilings and kidnapping in Uwherun area of Ughelli North.
