A major contender for the chairmanship position of Warri South West local government, Engr Don Dickson Ogugu has expressed appreciation to the various roles played by leaders of the council area during his ambition to become the council chairman.
Engr Ogugu in a thank you message posted on his verified social media handle said that it became necessary for him to appreciate the Ijaw and Itsekiri Leaders for being for him during the time of nursing the Chairman.

Engr Don Ogugu who is a grassroot mobilizer described High Chief Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo as a father figure in the local government and the state beyond, said that his fatherly contributions not only to the Warri South West Council Area cannot be quantified.
The Isaba, Ogbe-Ijoh and Diebiri born politician and philanthropist noted that the 2024 Delta State local government elections has come and gone with Hon Chief Sylvester Oromoni emerging as the PDP Candidate who later had a landslide victory in the July 13th local government polls.
He wished Hon. Sylvester Oromoni and his Vice, Hon. Christy Omamofe and all the sworn in councilors a successful tenure.
