Endsars: Edevbie Remembers Slained Youths

Olorogun David Edevbie the immediate past Chief of Staff to Delta State Governor has commiserated with families of those that were killed during the Endsars protest in 2020.

In a post on facebook page, Edevbie disclosed that Nigeria youths are being faced with one challenge or the other and his his ready to rehabilitate them starting from his home state Delta.

According to the post, A year ago, we lost 12 futures at the #EndSARS peaceful protest held at the Lekki toll gate, Lagos State.

I am aware of the issues the Nigerian youths are being faced with on a daily basis and no amount of words are enough to pacify you. However, I can assure you that things will get better.

I have pledged to do the best I can in rehabilitating this country, starting with Delta State but that is a topic for another day.

Today, 20-10-21, I join the youths in remembrance of these brave souls who laid their lives fighting for justice.

I urge us to pray for the lost souls, their loved ones, the youths, the armed forces, the government and Nigeria as a whole.

We will never forget.

May their souls rest in peace. Amen.
