The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC Bashorun Askia Ogieh has presented medical and delivery equipments to Primary Health Centres across the state.
Presenting the medical equipments, Askia disclosed that the items would enhance the well being, happiness, peace and productivity of our families and communities.
According to him, “Today, I was delighted to have DESOPADEC present health care delivery equipments to the 268 Primary Health Care Centres across Delta State to be distributed by the Delta State Primary Health Care Development Agency across all our local government areas.
“The equipments cover all that is required for the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the centres, from the front offices to the consulting rooms, wards, laboratories, surgery rooms, pharmacies, dispensaries, management offices etc.
“Our intervention is to ensure that Deltans have close access to primary health care within proximity so as to enhance the well being, happiness, peace and productivity of our families and communities.
“I especially thank His Excellency, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Okowa CON, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Ogbueshi Patrick Ukah, for his vision, leadership, support and for honouring our invitation to commission the equipments.”
