Delta At 33: Tilije, Amioku Express Optimism Of A Better And Brighter Future For Deltans

 

The Delta State Commissioner for Finance, Chief (Sir) Fidelis Okenmor Tilije, the Chairman of the Delta State Civil Service Commission, Mrs. Roseline Amioku, has both expressed their optimism of a better and brighter future for the both indigenous and resident of the state.

They urged Deltans to have little patient with the current administration, pointing that the foundation have been laid for Deltans to start enjoying dividends of democracy in all parts of the state.

The dou spoke in separate interviews with Journalist, shortly after a thanksgiving service to mark the 33rd anniversary of the creation of the state, held the state government house chapel, Asaba, Tuesday.

According to Tilije, the current administration is investing in infrastructural development that cuts across the 25 local government areas, and Delta will be a glorify place where other states will emulate.

He said, “the truth of the matter is that we cannot leave celebration out of life, it is important that we must continuously give thanks to God because as you give thanks to God, many more blessings of God will come”.

“The foundation have been laid, let Deltans just have some little patient, some little time, I know that the grace of God will fall in place and there will be clearly dividends of democracy for all the looks and crannies in Delta state “.

“We have tried to do the best that we can and looking at the one last decade, for instance, Delta has actually grown in leave and bans”

“The foundation laid by senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa in terms of physical empowerment of human capital, a lot is going to be done in few months in that direction, I know that more than 11 thousand people has already been empowered in Delta state, many more will come, and it will cut across all the 25 local government areas in Delta state”.

“I thank Deltans for all their support and the peace they have been able to shower onto this land of Delta state.”

He commended Deltans for their unwavering support and peace, noting that there was every reason to be grateful and thankful to God.

In her remarks the Chairman of the Delta State Civil Service Commission, Mrs. Rosline Amioku expressed optimism that the state has huge potential for greatness especially with the personality of Sheriff Oborewori leading the state.
