The Leadership of Delta State Coastal Communities led by its President, Comrade Sheriff Mulade has renewed their call to the State Government to create the much needed Coastal Areas Development Agency ( CADA) in order to fast track the development of the area.
The Leadership of DCC has also urged the entire leadership of the Members of the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) to consider the people’s Bill to establish Agency.
A Delta born Environmental and human rights activist, Comrade Sheriff Mulade spoke to our reporter at Obotobo 1 Community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Comrade Mulade urged Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to establish CADA to address the issues of housing, infrastructural development, portable drinking water, good roads, sanitation and commercial fishing on a better platform.
