Councillor donates writing materials to 3 school in Patani, frowns at staff negligence of duties

The councilor representing Uduophori Ward 15, at Patani Local Government Council, Hon. Oghenevwegba Okoro has described the continuous absence of Ege Primary school staff as worrisome in community.

Speaking while distributing education materials worth thousands of naira to pupils of Ege primary school 1/2 and New Bethel school, Okoro said, “the staff of Ege primary school 1, should turn a new leave towards by ensuring that they are in school to teach the future leaders of the nation.

“Staff of the school should know that the future of our children is in their hands and they should always be available to teach them academically and the attitude of neglecting their duty post should be stopped.

According to him, “I promise my people that within my 100 days in office, I will brief them and notify them of our activities in the local government council and I have come to fulfill that promise.
