BATTLE AGAINST COVID-19, NED NWOKO TO SET UP FOOD BANKS

 

As part of his continued commitment to help in the battle against the Novel Corona Virus Disease, chairman of Ned Nwoko foundation, Ned Nwoko will beginning from Wednesday the 8th of April, 2020 set up food banks to help cushion the effect of the two weeks lockdown in Delta State.

In a statement by the convener Ned Nwoko Volunteers, Snr. Comr. Idi Presley, stated, “Ned in his usual way of putting a smile on the faces of his people has approved the setting up of food banks for his people.

According to Presley, the food bank will be a mobile one and will focus on the most vulnerable in society.

Comrade Presley added that in strict adherence to the lockdown directives of the state government, the items will be shared at the approved and designated market sites.

Recall that just last week, Prince Ned Nwoko sponsored also a sensitization program, which saw the distributions of thousands of clinically certified sanitizers, hand gloves and nose mask.
