At 60, Okowa Is A Pillar Of Modern Democracy-Edegware

Secretary to Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, DBIR, Chief Mike Edegware has described governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as a pillar of modern democracy in Nigeria politics.

Edegware who is also the president of Mike Edegware Foundation, MEF, in a congratulatory message to Gov Okowa on his 60th birthday said, “His Excellency, Governor Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa is a Pillar of modern democracy whose developmental strides has positioned the State to an enviable height.

According to him, “He redefined infrastructural development and dividends of democracy in the most practical terms that leave no one in doubt that he is indeed a redeemer of the people. In four short years, his impact is felt in all nooks and crannies of the state and the verdict is unanimous that the best man for the job is on the saddle.

“We are witnesses and we testify that you are indeed a huge blessing not just to Delta State, but Nigeria as well. So, very deservedly, we celebrate you, our great visionary leader.

“Yes, today is the special day of the road master, economic genius, miracle worker, chief political strategist, man of visible and verifiable results, father and mentor of uncommon and enviable virtues and efficient manager of scarce resources as he turns 60.

“Delta State is blessed to have him as one of the most performing governor, he has transformed the State beyond imagination, his peaceful initiatives has brought in foreign investors.

“He is a man of impeccable character and unassailable integrity and that has endeared him to win the heart of Deltans and Nigerians at large, his YAGEP and STEP programs has lifted youths out of restiveness and many are now independently stable.

“As you deservedly celebrate your 60th birthday, i join your family, Political Associates and Deltans in general to celebrate with you.

“It is my prayer that the Almighty God to continue to grant you robust health, wisdom as you Pilot the affairs of the State to the Pathway of Infrastructural Development”. He added.
