Rotarian Ibebe Rufus Akpobome, a Delta State House of Assembly hopeful for Ughelli North constituency I, under the platform of African Democratic Congress, ADC, has disclosed that his intentions to vie for the seat is to help liberate his constituents from misrepresentation.
He said, “Am contesting to win so that I can use Government resources to develop my people”.
Ibebe in his mid-20s said, “As an individual, I have done what I can do for their growth and development by forming and joining organization that can develop my people.
If I am elected to represent my people, with government resources, I can do more.
“I have never subjected myself to any godfatherism in the name of party supremacy and through the mercy of God I have always work hard to earn what is enough for me to feed myself and family and give back to the people.
“I have no God father but I have the experience that is needed to bring home dividend of democracy to my people because I have enough to contribute to my people”.
As an individual, our project is, ‘Not Too Young to Run’ and with me at the Delta State House of Assembly, I will not fail my constituency but will do more. He vowed.
