Delta media practitioner, Comrade Agbubi Ejovwoke Emmanuel, has been sworn in as the ‘Chief Whip’ of the just concluded Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Youth wing election at Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Comrade Agbubi was sworn in alongside with Akpoguma Sandra as Director of Human Resources and Ese Agbobore as Welfare Officer among other for the next few years.
Reacting after the official inauguration, Comrade Agbubi said, “Like I have earlier declared during my campaigns, “I will ensure that the Urhobo nation takes its place of pride, position and speak with one voice.
“I look forward to a one united Urhobo to speak in one voice in a collective manners, respect and ideas for the promotion of our cultural heritage and values.”
On her part, Akpoguma Tuviere Sandra reassured the Urhobo youths, particularly young ladies of quality representation at any capacity.
“The unity of Urhobo nation at any time is sacrosanct and the youth wing of UPU, will pick up any challenge before it for interest and benefit of our land and as the 5th largest ethnic nationality in Nigeria.”
