The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Friday dismissed the suit filed by Chief Great Ogboru, gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress and the APC as a party against the election of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

In a statement by the coordinator of AGG, Gabriel Osekene, stated that “Deltans willingly came out to cast their votes massively for him (Okowa) and the PDP because of his developmental agenda.
“Knowing the nitty gritty of politics and the demand of the electorates was what gave Gov Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP the edge and winning streak”.
Osekene who also a member of Delta Central Equity Group, DCEG, appeal to the APC candidate to bury his difference and join hands with Okowa to build Delta.
He said, “As Deltans, irrespective of our political party difference should joins with Okowa and contribute our very best to the development of our dear state.
“Let’s put party aside and work together because two persons cannot be governor of one state at a time unless there is anarchy, but God has entrust Delta state into the hands of Governor Okowa for the next four years and we should help him to build.
“While I congratulate Governor Okowa for emerging victorious at the tribunal and Appeal Court, I am also appealing to all other aggrieved persons, candidates, political parties to shelve the sword of hatred and work for a new Delta of our desired dream. “
