NIGERIA’S modest fashion designer, Kenny Jones Designs has honoured Juju music legend, Ebenezer Obey with brand award.
Others awardees include Bishop David Oyedepo; Lagos State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Dr. Samuel Adejare; Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi); Pastor J. T. Kalejaiye and Reverend Sola Rotimi, who flew-in from his base in United States.
The award ceremony, which coincided with the 25th year’s anniversary of the company, was graced by crème de la crème in fashion and entertainment industry.
At the event, the Chief Executive officer, Kenny Jones Designs, Kehinde Olayiwola, said the awardees have impacted positively on his career, as they patronize his brands and make it a household name in the country.
While dedicating to God, whom he claimed has been with him since 1992, when the company was founded, Olayiwola said the recipients of the awards are part of his success story today.
“I can’t but be thankful to God for his love towards me. I remember that there was a time I cannot afford a sewing machine, but today, my story has changed my story”.
