…says his victory is going to be across all the wards

Following the overwhelming endorsement by elders, political fathers and leaders of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Delta Central, Delta State and the good people of Ughelli North Constituency 1 to represent them in Delta State House of Assembly come 2019; Chief Ominimini Obiuwebvi has officially declared his intention.
At the carnival like ceremony held in his home town, Agbarha in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Ominimini Obiuwebvi, the former member representing Ethiope East and Ughelli North Local Government Areas on the board of DESOPADEC, declared that he has offered himself to serve for the overall interest of the constituency.
In his word “politics is calculation, I wanted to contest for the position of the House of Representation of Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency but the present day political leaders of the constituency advised me that given what we have at present is good, they beckoned on me to run for house of assembly and I saw reason with them.”
While asserting that, the leadership of the local government across the board in PDP, APC and other political parties met and zoned the house of assembly ticket to Agbarha. He said “Agbarha decided to come out with their first eleven that is why they led a delegation to me. Agbarha has a lot of good eleven but among the good eleven you have the best and I Ominimini is the best. I was born into politics, politics is in my blood and I believe in the people so much that is why, Chief Ominimini foundation is doing a lot mostly in the educational sector to empower the people mentally.”
Reiterating the need for unity of purpose so as to foster a common front to liberate the good people of Ughelli North Constituency 1 through purposeful representation, he said “if APC gives me the ticket my victory by the grace of God will not be a victory of one ward or two units. I am going to win across all the wards .Already seven people have stepped down for me and this are all worthy contestants who are qualified. They did this not because I paid them off but because everybody knows my capacity.”
He concluded by saying that those who made him leave PDP because they did not care about internal democracy, but felt they could write names of people for primaries and congresses in the comfort of their bedroom, “we will face them in the field in 2019 and by the grace of God we will defeat and disgrace them and PDP authority at the top will blame them.”
