A clash between two rival cult groups has led to the death of a rival member in Orerokpe community,in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was learned that, the two rival cult groups, Eiye and Aye had an unresolved misunderstanding over an alleged online between two members of the group.
According to sources, “last night, an alleged member of Aye named Kenneth was brutally attacked by Eiye members near Schban (Last Hour Pub) in Orerokpe, Delta State.
“The conflict began over a failed online business deal between an Aye and an Eiye member. The Eiye member was first attacked by Aye members, who also took his phone during the incident.
“After the initial attack, Eiye members sought revenge last night. They waited outside Schban Bar (Last Hour Pub), where an Aye was celebrating his birthday. Kenneth, an alleged Aye who was attending the party, was spotted by the Eiye rolling squad and brutally attacked and his phones also collected, leaving him with life-threatening injur!es.
“Kenneth, described as a gentle boy was not aware and not involved in what caused the initial problem. He was attacked only because of his supposed affiliation with Aye.”The source revealed.
