Two suspected kidnappers have been overpowered, captured by a juju Priestess and handed over the police attached to Agbarho division in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was learned that the suspected kidnappers had broken into the priestess shrine and attacked her daughter before they were caught at Ehwerher-Agbarho community.
According to source for the community, “The two kidnappers suspected from Northern Nigeria broke into the house and shrine located at the extreme end of the community at about midnight and attacked her daughter.
“The daughter raised an alarm which attracted her mother, the Priestess who burst out from her room with cutlass, to attack the two aboki.
“She matchete them on their legs several times, tie them like okporoko fish put for ground before she go call community to come carry them go.
“As at the time of this report, the two aboki dey agbarho police station while the woman pikin wey them stab dey receive treatment for an undisclosed hospital.” The anonymous source alleged.
All efforts to contact the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Edafe Bright was not successful as calls to his mobile phone were not answered nor replied as at the time of this report
