A serving commissioner representing three local government areas and former Delta State House of Assembly aspirant, names withheld,were embroidered in a public fight during a political meeting held at the country home of one of the leaders of a ruling party in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Their security escorts could not put a stop to the fighting in one of the Ughelli north communities, as they both disgraced and embarrassed themselves before the public.
Though, causes of their public disgrace was unknown, it was learned that both were accusing each other of alleged political blackmail and propaganda.
A source who confirmed the incident revealed that the commissioner representing three local government areas and former House of Assembly Aspirant were in a crucial meeting when one of them resumed the alleged the insult and blackmail.
“Fed up with the incessant insults at the gathering, the other confronted his rival with a Magnified Slap, they both came out of the meeting at the country home of a party leader.
“After the ‘Magnified Slap’ they both came out of the meeting and begin to fight publicly to the surprise of the party leaders.
“One of them was seriously beaten to a point before they were separated by some persons and leaders.”
One of the victims of the fight who confirmed the incident, not to this Medium said, “That man has been blackmailing me and some of my family members in the party and I have tolerated him enough.
“He blackmailed and painted me and my family members black before the state governor and it took me a long period of time to come out of his allegations.
As that was not enough, at the meeting, he was saying same thing before our leaders and when I confronted him, he threatened to beat me blue black.
“We came outside the compound where the meeting was being held to test our physical therapy and strength. He was thought the lesson of his life.”
