Foremost political pressure group, Urhobo National Youth Congress (UNYC) paid a courtesy visit to the Senior Political Adviser to Executive Governor of Delta State, Sen. Emmanuel Aguariavwodo in his Asaba office yesterday.
The group which was ably led by the group National President, Comr. Austine Emuetama met with the Senior Political Adviser to establish a good relationship with him and to promote his office noting the excellent job his doing to develop the youths of Delta State in line with the MORE agenda of our amiable Governor.
The group President noted that ” His pedigree is no doubt proven that you are a man of integrity and honesty who has paid the price for the success of our great party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.
You have remain loyal, steadfast and consistent in the party since the inception of Democracy in 1999 with no record of decamping even when you were not given the ticket you contested as Governor in 2007, 2015 and 2023 respectively.
Our distinguished Olorogun Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, with all these track records of faithfulness, loyalty and dedication to our great party (PDP), the Urhobo National Youth Congress led by (Osu-Ighene) High Prince Comr, Austine Ejiroghene Emuetama hereby nominate you for a Merit Award as an Outstanding Party Man of the year 2024.”
The Senior Political Adviser who thanked the group for the special visit said going by his track records that the group President said while presenting his speech noted that life in totality is all about service.
He said where ever position he finds himself in life, he always make a difference and advice the group to always be of service to make a difference.
He noted that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) remains the best party in Nigeria as the ruling party (APC) has devalued the naira, lives and economy of the nation.
The Senior Political Adviser also advised the group to be proactive concerning recent vital issues that relates to the Urhobo youths citing the recent killings of military personnel who were on a peaceful mission to Okuoma community in Ughelli South of Delta State.
According to him ” The act is terrible, dastard, horrible, barbaric and totally alien to our culture of the Urhobo nation.’
He called on the law enforcement agents should do their work to fish out all those involved to restore peace in our communities.
He advised the group to sensitize the youths to be hardworking and be vigilant to secure their communities from strangers whose mission is to cause mayhem to the well being of the communities and state at large
