A Combine team of local security agents from Iwhre-Nene and Delta State Security Corps and Delta State Vigilantes have recoverd the corpse of a kidnapped victim and rescue one other from the grip of suspected kidnappers in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta state.
It was gathered by the Politicsgovernance.com that the deceased, identified as Steve Oghoro was abducted at Inene community and few days later, his corpse was dumped at a bush part road in Afiesere community.
Though it could not be ascertained why Steve was killed as at the time of this report
A local security source who confirmed the incident disclosed that the victim was stabbed and on the head, throat and stomach respectively.
“Today we have come to recover the corpse of a man who was kidnapped at Iwhre-Nene community from a roadside in Afiesere community.
“During the process of recovering the corpse, we rescued a kidnapped victim from the kidnappers after a heavy gun battle with them in the bush.” The source held revealed.
It was further gathered that Steve Oghoro was preparing for his marriage ceremony at the weekend before the unfortunate incident occurred last week.
