Comrade Lucky Olerhimena Ofomukoro, (JP), a grassroot political mobilizer and youth leader of the People Democracy Party (PDP) in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of the State on his recent pre-election Supreme Court and Election Petition Tribunal victories.
The Supreme Court on Friday affirmed the candidacy of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori valid credentials for the 2023 Delta governorship election, putting to rest all pre-election disputes and controversies surrounding the state’s governorship election and the dismissal of the Delta State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Asaba by Ken Pela, governorship candidate of the Labour Party.
Ofomukoro in a statement signed personally as released to press in Ughelli, congratulated the Governor and his deputy, leaders and supporters of the People Democracy Party, PDP on the court victories.
He described the courts ruling as a victory for democracy and the good people of Delta State, adding that it is a boost for Governor Oborevwori to focus on delivering his M.O.R.E. Agenda for all Deltans.
He said, “The Supreme Court has finally laid to rest all pre-election disputes and controversies surrounding the Delta State Governorship election 2023 for Gov. Oborevwori victory at the poll with all valid credentials.
“This is indeed a victory for democracy and the good people of Delta State who freely gave you their mandate to govern them for the next four years and beyond.
“This will also serve as a boost for Mr Governor to keep delivery democracy dividends through his M.O.R.E. Agenda for all Deltans”, Ofomukoro.
