THE Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, Ughelli North chapter in Delta state has congratulated the governor-elect, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and his deputy at the March 18 gubernatorial and State Assembly election held in the state.
President of the group, Chief Chuks Okonwo in a congratulatory message, described the victory of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and Sir Monday Onyeme as democracy at work.
According to him, “I know Oborevwori and what he stands for, he will bring to bear his wealth of idea from the legislative arm of government to the executive and ensure rule of law and discipline to governance.
“We are urging Deltans to support the government of Oborevwori in delivering dividends of democracy to the state.
“The Ohanaze Ndi -Igbo in Ughelli North, which represents peace, progress will stand solidly behind your administration as partners in progress”. Okonkwo aaaured.
