Delta Female Commissioner In N5.7M PDP Primary Elections Scandal

A Delta female commissioner has been allegedly accused of forcefully collecting the sum of five million, seven hundred thousand naira, (N5.7M) from an adhoc delegate she nominated for the just concluded primary elections of the Peoples Democratic Parry, PDP.

It was gathered that the commissioner, a former vice principal in one secondary schools in Ughelli north hails from Okpe local government area of the state was picked from the classroom and appointed by the state govenor.

 

Only recently the said commissioner had interview with the state television station where she messed up herself with the slang of ‘Only God will help us’ during the live interview session.

 

According to sources, “the commissioner is presently causing uproar after she took the sum of N5,700,000 from N6,000,000, from a Peoples Democratic Party Adhoc delegate in Delta State, and gave her a N300,000 just for nominating her.

“The lady is from the same ward with the Commissioner, after the primaries, the commissioner demanded for all the money she received from aspirants.

“Surprised on how she knew the exact cash, the lady then brought the cash and the next thing she did was to handout N300,000 to her while she kept the other N5.7 million to herself  saying that she will give part of the N5.7M to the speaker for nominating her as commissioner. the source said.

 

“It is very bad that she is trying to paint the PDP governorship candidate, her own brother in a bad light.

How will she take a whole N5.7 million from the N6 million, leaving her with N300,000, that is greed.

“Let our speaker intervene, her excuse was that she wants to give part of the money to Mr Speaker who nominated her as commissioner and some leaders in the ward and as I speak to you, none of the leaders in the ward has gotten a dime” the anonymous source revealed.

 

All effort to contact the commissioner prove abortive as message sent to her mobile phone with 0806******1652 was not replied and calls to her by journalists were answered by a female who identified herself as the commissioner’s PA.
